In partnership with Africa Hope Initiatives, Mission Life is opening a second center in Kimironko, another area with some of Rwanda’s most vulnerable children in the city. Kimironko is situated in the Gasabo District, in Rwanda’s capital city of Kigali. It is a very poor area in one of the older areas of the city. Africa Hope Initiatives is supporting a group of women there with a micro loan project. As they work to build a better life to support their families, their children need our help to be able to attend the Child Hope Center. Among other things, these families can’t afford to send their children to school. Africa Hope Initiatives says it will be a great privilege for our community to have the Child Hope Center to support them with a Christian foundation and give them the opportunity to learn.

We have developed a comprehensive plan to for this Child Hope Center to be the first pre-school program, and we provide children with following:

• Daily breakfast and lunch

• Bible lessons, worship, and devotionals

• School work

• Sports

• Arts and crafts

• School fees and supplies

All of this, and more, will be provided in a comfortable and safe environment where strong relationships can be formed between children, parents, and educators.
