A Message From Angel Galvis, Mission Life Founder and CEO
“Jesus called the children to him and said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
I remember being in Rwanda on a short term mission trip with a group of people from church. One of the ladies was anxiously waiting to meet the two children she had been sponsoring for several years through a well known child sponsorship organization.
Her happiness could be felt as they arrived with their translator for the visit. When she asked the translator if the kids recognized her, a uniform movement of their heads suggested they did not. That’s when I got confirmation for the vision to create something for that piece missing in this kind of relationship. The connection of meeting face to face could not be felt through photos and letters to each other from the other side of the world.
Through child sponsorship, you can help give them the basic necessities so they can have a better life but even without material wealth, the children are so loving and giving. That’s when the “a-ha moment” came. When you give your time and take interest in getting to know each other, it is that effort that leads to a relationship that can have a life lasting change on both of you. Watch as one of our families, the Sherwin’s sends a personalized video message to their sponsor child, Tatiana.
MISSION LIFE APP NOW AVAILABLE
After all this research and vision, we are thrilled to announce the launching of the new Mission Life APP this month! Through this APP, families can now send and receive videos right from their phones! We’re taking relationships to the next level so you can see each other face to face, get to know each other’s personalities and share your lives through video messages.
Through the APP, you can also stay up to date on projects Mission Life is working on, read weekly devotionals, learn more about the children of Mission Life and follow along as we share Stories of Change with you. I invite you to download the APP today and record a video message to send to your child. Some of you may even have something waiting for you in your inbox.

Mission Life was born out of one life changed in Jesus Christ, mine, and that life now being dedicated to help make the world a better place. Since that day, the vision for Mission Life is to help children realize their mission in life through a relationship with Jesus Christ, and help change the world, starting with their own families. Learn about Erwin, one of the boys at one of our centers in Colombia, who’s influence brought his dad to Christ and changed the future of his family.
