Children's Day at Villavicencio Builds Confidence and Independence

The best way for children to exert their independence, build confidence and feel free is through developmental activities. Fifty children at our Villavicencio center gathered in an open field with some parents in early May to celebrate Children’s day.

The activities included singing, dancing, competition and lots of fun. Center leaders say they were filled with joy to see the children’s willingness to participate in all of the competitions and recite the verses learned during that month.

The center praises God for letting them fulfill this dream and longing to have a specific activity to remind children how important they are to our society. The children told our partners it was a special moment and they were grateful that all of this was planned for them.
