Mission Life Welcomes New Board Members

Bibiana, Christian and Angel at a recent Board meeting

MIssion Life’s Board of Directors is growing! We’re pleased to announce the addition of two new board members, Christian Scott and Bibiana Medina.

Bibiana joins our board with a long history of volunteer work including a medical mission trip to Mexico after the 2017 earthquake, translation for residents during the 2018 gas explosions in the Lawrence, MA area, children’s worship at her church and a support group for young single moms. Medina, a single mom herself, immigrated to the U.S. in 1998 from Colombia. In addition to her full time job in the medical field, Medina is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Healthcare Management. Bibiana joined our mission trip exploratory team to Colombia in March. She shares a reflection of her trip in this month’s newsletter.

Bibiana hopes to bring a unique perspective to the board with her Colombian roots and her close relationship with God.

“I’ve been at work with God for so many struggles, victories and blessings. I’ve had low moments and high moments. With the combination of all of these things, it gives me the ability to trust Him, know Him and meet people where they are,” Medina says.

Mission Life is also thrilled to welcome Christian Scott to the Board. Scott has a background in ministry. He spent many years serving as a pastor at Manchester Christian Church, now known as One Church. Scott continues to share his faith in the community serving in several capacities including as co-lead of the welcome team at Beacon Church in Londonderry. He brings years of business experience working in the real estate industry.

Scott says, “I am elated about joining the board. It gives me an opportunity to utilize my God-given gifts to have a global impact.”

Scott and his family sponsor several children through Mission Life and he has been a long time supporter of our vision.
