Message from Angel Galvis, Mission Life Founder and CEO
As we celebrate Thanksgiving, my heart overflows with gratitude for the incredible family we have in Mission Life. Each of you is a vital part of the work God is doing in the lives of the children we serve. Your generosity and love are shaping brighter futures and filling little hearts with hope.
This month, we had the joy of sending letters from the children to their sponsors. The excitement in their eyes as they share their stories and dreams with you is a reminder of how much your connection means to them.
But the story doesn’t end there. At Mission Life, intentional relationships are at the heart of our mission. Our work isn’t just about providing resources; it’s about building bridges of understanding, compassion, and encouragement between sponsors and the children they support. Seeing these letters reminded me of just how impactful these connections are.
When you take the time to respond to a child’s letter or a video message, you are doing much more than writing words—you are planting seeds of confidence and faith in their hearts. These children often face challenges and uncertainties, and knowing that someone across the world cares about them, prays for them, and believes in their potential changes their perspective. Your words tell them, “You are seen, you are valued, and you are not alone.”
We want every child to know that their sponsor is more than a name; they are a friend, a supporter, and someone who is deeply invested in their journey.
While our cornerstone is technology and video messaging, letter writing remains a cherished way to deepen these relationships. I encourage you to connect with your sponsored child this holiday season. Whether it’s a quick video, a thoughtful note, or a prayerful message, your response will have a lasting impact.
We are also thrilled to welcome Brenda to the Mission Life team in Rwanda!
As we give thanks for all that God has provided, let us also thank Him for the opportunity to pour into these young lives. Your partnership makes miracles happen daily, and we are so thankful for you.
