Your Heart and Your Eyes

“My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.” - Proverbs 23:26

There is a connection to capture here: Your heart and your eyes. When we give the Lord our heart, our eyes will follow. The things of this world will lose their desire. The more we surrender our heart, the more we can be transformed into His image.

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will.”  -Romans 12:2

If you find yourself struggling in surrender or fearful you may miss out on something “good”, ask the Lord for help. Ask Him for strength to surrender. Invite him into your struggle and allow him to guide you out into the abundance that He has for you.

The Lord our God is the maker of heaven and earth. He spoke everything we see into existence. He colors the sky and fills the sea. He provides all we could ever need.

God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness so that they may rule over the fish of the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, over all the creatures that move along the ground.” -Genesis 1:26

He made you, and he made you to rule and have dominion. He made you for so much more than you could even imagine. He made you because He wanted you here. You matter to him.  You have worth and value to the Lord most high.

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him.” - 1 Corinthians 2:9

Oh Friend, Give him your heart and adjust your eyes. Life with Jesus is far better than you could ever imagine.
