His Unfailing Love

“But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.  I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.”  Psalm 13:5-6

This scripture has carried this heart on some seriously difficult roads. It changes my view, my heart, my words. This is the honest truth and the place we need to live, not simply visit.  

No matter what happens in this life. No matter the struggle or the joy. We are passing through eyes fixed on the place of passing and not the eternal destination and it can be difficult.  

Confess your trust. Count the endless ways He loves you. Acknowledge his numerous gifts. The warmth of the sun. The cool of the night. The colors of the sky that begin and end each day. The promise you are never forsaken. Salvation!

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 

This amazing truth will cause your heart and mouth to sing the Lord’s praise. Indeed, he has been very good to beloved children.
