Message from Angel Galvis, Mission Life Founder and CEO
In this chapter of Acts, it is clear that Paul served the Lord with great humility and tears, despite all of the challenges he faced (Acts 20:19). All the hard work we do in the name of Jesus - caring for children, raising funds, developing programs - will inevitably bear fruit, despite any opposition or challenges we may face. Through every accomplishment, every child served, and every soul won for the kingdom of God, the Lord reveals His glory.
We recently celebrated the graduation of a group of children who participated in our pilot preschool program. The success of the program and its approval by the government has led us to establish grades one and two of primary education for one of our child hope centers in Rwanda. With these two new grades, the children who have just graduated from preschool can continue their education at the center.
The success of these programs is due to God's grace and your support. One thing I've learned while developing Mission Life is the impact sponsors can have on a child's life through a personal connection.
We have recently received some heartwarming video updates from the children in Rwanda. These updates express the youngsters' profound joy and gratitude towards their sponsors. Witnessing how even the smallest gestures can make such a big difference in their lives is truly inspiring. I have noticed that the children become delighted and excited when they receive a message from their sponsor, a photo with a note, or a 30-second video saying hello. Therefore, I encourage you not to miss this exceptional opportunity to bring hope and joy into these children's lives.
If you haven’t sent your sponsored child a message, I want you to try it. It will change their lives. We have worked very hard with our team to create an easy way for you to have an intentional relationship with your sponsored child. They know you by name, but I promise they will love seeing your face and hearing your voice. Don’t worry about what to say or how to say it; click on the recording button and let God fill your heart with the words to fall out of your mouth. We’ll take care of the rest.
Remember, “It is more blessed to give than to receive,” and a simple Hello would be a beautiful gift to them.
