Providing a Joyful Christmas For All of Our Children

To date, nearly 200 children are sponsored by loving families across our 8 child centers and we are so grateful! Because of those sponsorships, we are able to stretch many resources, such as food and tutoring, with the 124 children at our centers who are still waiting for a sponsor to call their own. 

Many children have been waiting for close to a year including 14 year old Danna at our center in Bogota, Colombia (UPDATE: Danna has now been sponsored! Thank you!) and 9 year old Kenny at our Kimisagara Child Hope Center in Rwanda.

In an effort to make sure every child gets to experience the true joy of Christmas, every year through the generosity of our supporters, we strive to send additional funds so the centers can put on a special celebration and provide a gift for each child.

Can you help us make it happen this year? You can do so by sending a donation through our general fund.

During the holidays, many children and sponsors like to exchange letters and videos to share traditions and to send best wishes to each other. This is a great time of the year to continue to develop meaningful relationships by including the family in video messages. The children love to learn about different traditions. Have fun sharing! We get this next question a lot so we thought it would be helpful to give step by step directions on how to send your child an extra donation this Christmas as a gift. The gift will be given to your child and his/her family.

Donate to your child on the computer:

• Click on “My Profile

• Log in to your profile

• Scroll down to “My Sponsorships”

• Click the black arrow “See All”

• Click the green button with the money sign, “New Donation”

Donate to your child on the APP:

• Once logged in, go to “My Donations”

• Under recurring donations, click on your child sponsorship

• Click on “Make another Donation”

• Choose donation amount

• At bottom of screen, add a simple note to indicate what the donation is for (ie. Christmas or Birthday gift)

Due to logistics and limited resources, unfortunately we cannot accommodate special requests.
