First Time Meeting - Students from N.H. and Colombia Connect over Zoom

The freshman and junior classes at Concord Christian Academy are using some of the Spanish they’ve learned to get to know the children at Mission Life’s child center in Colombia!

They met over a zoom call while our Mission Life team was visiting Bogota! The students are sponsoring two girls and a boy from our center through our Service Learning project pilot with the school. 

They asked each other questions such as favorite subject, favorite thing to do after school and favorite sport. Some students found they had things in common such as a love for cats. Danna and Karen are two of the children the students are getting to know this semester. The girls also practiced saying some English words. 

The high school students are helping to raise funds to launch a soccer school there through a Cafecito coffee fundraiser.
