Today we took a little break to visit the Salt Mine in Zipaquirá, the first Colombian wonder of the world.

It was just a little break with the team after an intensive week of work. So far, we have accomplished three of our goals for this exploratory trip.

One new partnership to establish another child development center in Bogotá is ready.

We have been navigating through the preliminary work for this ministry to come on board with Mission Life and provide an opportunity for more families in the United States to connect with children in this community.

Mission Life’s Jason Snook chats with some of our teenagers at the child center in Bogota.

A dream of mine is also being fulfilled! The first Soccer Life school is on its way! God has given us the person we have been waiting for, the coach to pilot our program and give 40 of our kids at Formavida a chance to train for soccer. This former soccer player has a beautiful testimony of faith and he is ready to give his knowledge and time to serve the kids.

Finally, after two days of intense meetings and brainstorming, we are on our way to establish a program driven, center operations manual. With this new format, every partner ministry, every center, every community we come together with, and our partners at Formavida will run the Child development centers uniformly so experiences and results will be similar across the world.

Next stop, Leticia Amazonas!
