In Rwanda and Colombia, the Child Hope Centers are hubs of activity all year round, but Holy Week is an extraordinary time. Children and families from the surrounding communities gather at the centers to celebrate Jesus' resurrection and reflect on the meaning of this important holiday.

The pandemic changed everything about our lives. It wiped out structure, routines and it challenged our decision making. It was the same for our Mission Life Child Development Centers. Everyone was forced to get used to a new way of living and families used to meeting up outside were told to stay indoors cutting off communication. The kids weren’t able to come to the centers regularly and our teachers had to find new ways to connect to continue to serve their needs such as home visits.
