It doesn’t matter who has what or how much. Without the love of Christ to share with others, we are all in poverty. There is a gift that has been given to us today that costs nothing. I’m excited to keep learning how to be a better servant this week from our new friends. It’s really as simple as that.

Read MoreI love how John describes what it really means to love one another. When we love, we are willing to sacrifice the self for another person without expecting anything in return. Real, unconditional love is an action. It's not just a nice feeling that makes you warm and fuzzy inside. Love is hard at times and it takes energy and effort.

What if God’s design and gift for some of His children is to have many different gifts and qualities so He can call them to several different jobs in order to bless others? I believe that many people are so focused on searching for their one purpose their entire life that they end up missing the truth– maybe their purpose is not to have one specific gift or do one specific thing.
