just got back from a mission trip to Nicaragua with a team of people from our partners at One Church and Mission Life. We served alongside REAP Granada. This organization is doing an amazing job in this community. They love people and share the love of God with them. They also give love to everyone who goes there to serve with them.

Read MoreThat photo was taken in Kigali, Rwanda during a mission trip in 2018. We were visiting the community of Kimisagara, in the outskirts of the city. When we got out of the vans, we noticed a group of children standing outside the church and as soon as we got out, they flocked to us in such a welcoming way it was overwhelming. As the team and I were about to go inside the tent this community used as a church, the kids surrounding us stopped and stayed back.

Real, unconditional love is an action. It's not just a nice feeling that makes you warm and fuzzy inside. Love is hard at times and it takes energy and effort.
